PC Total Lifecycle Management (TLM)
Desktop
Migration (Windows 2000-XP)
The industry average lifecycle for PCs is 36 months. This means
that 1/3 of the PCs in any organization are replaced in a given
year. This PC migration is typically a labor-intensive process,
requiring IT intervention to move user files and settings from an
obsolete PC to a brand new system. This typically takes 4 hours
per PC. With Connected TLM®, this process can be streamlined
down to a matter of minutes. Even using a conservative estimate
that Connected TLM® can cut the time required for a PC Migration
in half, the savings are substantial.

Installation
and Configuration
E-Enterprise Solutions sells installation and configuration
services. Hardware installation services may or may not include
software installation. Some manufacturers offer remote software
deployment. Service providers may include integration and configuration
services under the overall installation process. However, in all
cases, the end user must directly contact the manufacturer
to schedule a date for equipment installation.

Maintenance
Warrantees
There are three basic types of warranties:
-
Warranty
Extensions
Warranty extensions lengthen the original warranty (e.g., from
one year to three on-site) by simply extending coverage beyond
the term specified by the original manufacturer warranty. Your
customers will typically need to buy warranty extensions at the
time of product purchase or within 90 days thereof.
-
Warranty
Upgrades
Warranty upgrades lift the original manufacturer's warranty response
time to a higher level (e.g. from next business day on-site to
24/7 on-site), ensuring a faster response than the standard warranty.
For example, your customers could choose to upgrade from next-business-day
response to same-day response. To extend service availability
hours from daytime hours to round-the-clock, your customers may
opt for warranty upgrades. Remote notebook support is also available.
-
Post-Warranty
Post-warranties support the equipment after the original manufacturer's
warranty has expired; usually contracted for one year. Products
that are no longer covered by manufacturer warranties can still
be covered by post-warranty maintenance service contracts.

Network
Management
After your purchase of a network solution, you'll need to monitor
the networks for failures, performance issues and potentially damaging
conditions to prevent problems from arising. A great way to do this
is via remote management.
Remote
server management is also available, allowing clients to monitor
Windows NT-based servers 24 hours a day. All incidents are remotely
reported by system; a knowledge base analyzes the application logs
before passing them on to the end user or reseller. This service
will augment your current break/fix resources or serve as a stand-alone
monitoring tool for your customers' in-house IT staff.
E-enterprise
solutions offers a suite of services that let network administrators
manage diverse systems and applications. Comprehensive management
capabilities support the total IT environment, including applications,
desktops and servers. We provide complete management services for
LANs and WANs; network service product installation for many networking
manufacturers is also available.

Asset
Identification for Management (AIM)
A
Cost-Effective Way to Inventory Your Current Infrastructure. Asset
Identification for Management (AIM) provides you with a comprehensive
inventory of your network infrastructure and its many components.
Such accurate documentation not only helps you with current network
issues but also enables you to better plan for the future of your
enterprise.
AIM
is divided into two classes of service to offer you a solution that
best meets your particular needs and budget. Carefully review each
class to find the AIM package that is ideal for your organization.
With AIM, the customer receives full and accurate documentation
of network equipment at the conclusion of the service engagement.
This increases the ease of project planning.
AIM
may be appropriate for customers looking to:
- Determine
the total cost of ownership
- Estimate
the cost and effect of network upgrade projects
- Predict
future cost and effect of planned network projects
- Determine
the cost of coverage for service contracts
- AIM
Class I
provides the following information on every network device: location
name: descriptive name; make, model and slot number; visible serial
number.
- AIM
Class II
provides detailed information on all Network devices including:
location name: descriptive name; make, model and slot number;
visible serial number; MAC and IP address; BOOT PROM and firmware
revision.

Network
Infrastructure Drawing
Let
E-enterprise Solutions Create an Accurate Drawing of Your Network.
The
fast pace growth of most network environments means that many of
your earlier drawings are out of date and no longer reflect the
true topology of the network. Updating these drawings can be time
consuming and often drains resources from the important day-to-day
operations of your network. E-enterprise Solutions can help with
your network Infrastructure Drawing service that provides detailed,
up-to-date CAD drawings of your entire networked environment. Use
these drawings as a handy on-site reference and as a helpful, timesaving
guide when troubleshooting your network.
E-enterprise
Solutions representative will conduct a closet-by-closet inspection
of your site, documenting the location of every device including
specific module, manufacturer, model number, port types, count per
port type, slot occupied and vacant slots where applicable. In addition,
we will document server connection ports and device-to-device connection
ports, as well as the type of cable used to make the connection.
Router configuration information will also be collected.
E-enterprise
Solutions will then produce a graphical representation of the network
infrastructure components documented during the on-site inspection.
Another graphical representation will be produced highlighting the
router hierarchy for each network protocol routed or switched at
Layer 3 of the OSI model. Three copies of each graphical view will
be produced as part of the final package.
Features:
- Detailed,
up-to-date drawings of you network environment
- Comprehensive
configuration information and documentation of network devices
- Enables
your networking staff to focus on other objectives
